McKenzie graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and continued to get her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology. She spent three years working in neuropsychological research labs focusing on mTBI and neurological recovery after head trauma. McKenzie has experience working with patients ages 16-90 in both an individual setting and psychological/neuropsychological assessments. She has experience treating those with serious psychological disorders, as well as those seeking therapy for general concerns. She works from a humanistic, person-centered approach and believes clients should have significant input in their therapy space.
