My philosophy on therapy; therapy is guidance during times of uncertainty, unsure paths, and situations. Therapy is the flashlight in through dark tunnels, where you are holding the flashlight luminating what you want to see. Where do I come in… during treatment we will work together exploring and learning your triggers, establishing, learning, and utilizing healthy coping skills and techniques, address trauma and strengthen your mental wellness.
About me: I employ a relationship versus authority and strength-based approach in therapy. I have been working with children (5-13 behavioral issues/ADHD), adolescence (13-18), adults, families and the senior population implementing therapy modules and evidence-based practices since 2016. Since starting psychotherapy services, I received training and certifications in Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(TFCBT), Dialetic Behavior Therapy(DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), and solution-based practice. I have experience in treating the following populations Bipolar I & II, Borderline Personality Disorder, Depressive and Anxiety disorder, ADHD, family and couples’ conflict and other mental health diagnosis.
